I have a recurring service and don’t understand how I’m being charged

Written by Carlos García Vázquez

We inform you that, when you book a recurring service on Webel, a pre-authorisation is made at that moment and the first payment is completed 2 hours after the end of the first service.

For the following services in the upcoming weeks, a pre-authorisation is made on your card 48 hours before the start of each service. This means that the amount is temporarily held, but it is not charged immediately.

The payment for each service is only confirmed 2 hours after the end of the service. Until then, the amount remains held as a security measure.

If the professional cancels the service, the pre-authorisation is automatically released and the amount becomes available in your account again without needing to wait for a refund.

If you cannot attend the service on a specific day, you can change the date by asking the professional to send you a change proposal through the chat, or you can cancel it without any issue. In case of cancellation, the pre-authorisation will be automatically released and the amount will become available in your account again.

Also, if any issue arises during the service, our team can help you review it. To do so, you have a claim period from the end of the service. This period is 24 hours for most categories and 72 hours for services such as plumbing, painting, electrical work, small renovations and other similar services.

🧾 You can view and manage your payments, completed services or cancellations directly in the app under “Services” → “Upcoming” → Details.
